Kling v3 Pro: animate a still, then edit it properly

Kling v3 Pro is an image-to-video model from Kuaishou, available in REQO's AI Studio. It animates a still you upload rather than inventing a shot from a prompt alone. Clips run 3s to 15s, with a soundtrack generated alongside the picture, and it sits in the highest quality tier at 11 credits for its shortest clip.

Against the 12 other image-to-video models in the studio it is the 8th-cheapest to run and comes back 12th quickest, at 11 credits and about 90 seconds a generation.

In the picker it is described as: Strongest motion, up to 15s.

You already have the frame - a product shot, a still from a shoot, an image you generated a moment ago - and want up to 15s of movement out of it, at whatever resolution the model returns.

The clip you need fits inside 3s to 15s, and you can wait about 90s for it.

You would rather not think about framing at all: the clip comes back in the shape of the image you gave it.

Where it runs out: Kuaishou built this endpoint to animate a still rather than to generate one, so there is no prompt-only path into it. Clips stop at 15s; Seedance 2.5 goes to 30s if you need one shot to run longer. Output resolution is whatever the model returns; there is no resolution setting to choose. At 11 credits it is not the cheap option: Kling v3 Standard runs at 9. Nor the quickest: Veo 3.1 Fast answers in about 80s against this one's 90s.

Most generators hand you a clip and stop, which leaves you downloading files and re-uploading them somewhere else to make anything of them.
