The short answers.
Is REQO really free?
Yes. Recording, the full editor (trim, cut, edit-by-transcript, captions, multi-track) and instant share links are free forever, with no credit card. Free exports include a small REQO badge.
Does the free plan have a watermark?
Yes. Free exports and share pages include a small REQO badge. Go Pro to remove it. Pro can also put your own logo and colour on share pages.
What are the limits on the free plan?
Free records and exports up to 1080p at 30fps. Pro adds 1440p, 4K and 60fps. Free uploads up to 1GB at a time. Pro has no upload limit. Free is for solo work. Pro adds unlimited team members. Recordings have no time limit, and a free account has no monthly quota of videos.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro ($19/mo or $190/yr) removes the export watermark, adds unlimited team members, and unlocks the AI Studio (talking avatars, text-to-video and AI images) plus the AI clip tools: background removal, chroma key, face touch-up, noise cancellation, auto cleanup and auto b-roll. Generation includes 100 credits a month plus top-ups.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Try the Pro features free for 14 days: watermark-free exports and share pages, 4K and 60fps, uploads of any size, your logo on share pages, your team, and the clip tools - background removal, chroma key and auto-reframe. Card required: a temporary $1 hold checks it and is released at once. It renews at $19/mo unless you cancel, and if a payment fails, Pro ends straight away. AI generation is not included; buy credits any time if you want it during the trial.
Do I need an account to record?
No. Record and share with no signup; a recording made without an account is deleted after 24 hours. A free account keeps your recordings and adds auto captions.
Is the AI Studio available on the free plan?
No. The AI Studio (avatars, text-to-video and AI image generation) is a Pro feature. Recording and editing your own footage is always free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription you can cancel at any time from your billing settings.
